Are you checking the "Remember me" box before you click on the login button?

Aaron Z

Yes ... I think its on a timer ... if your idle for so long its auto log out.

Red (Pink?) means a HOT thread with more than 150 views, the other color means less than 150 views.

They were there before, just smaller and did not demand as much attention...

David

Thanks for the info. A pretty useless feature, IMO.

I stay logged on, no problem, but I don't have a quick reply and the bottom reply to thread button doesn't work.

ps; originally I did have a quick reply button but it went away.

My bottom reply to thread worked on one forum but no others, now that's weird!

We've always had those icons. I agree...it's useless. Just have to properly remove it.

Ohhh...The yellow highlight on the new posts is a stroke of genius. Good job - makes for much easier navigation.

You're welcome. :) Oh, I guess I didn't *DO* it, just suggested it.

Wow, we're keeping the team busy!

Here's one for the list: When you quote something, there's a nifty new cartoon quote box around it. I like it! But then the font is put into italics. Can we skip that part?

The changes I have seen just since this morning are fairly significant. Thanks guys!

Tried that. Adjusted out past 21.56.452 reluctions. While that helped, now I have the tractor beam issue too. The fourth phase of the trans-location deflipperating convergence deionization blinker fluid control has caused a 180 degree reverging flutter in the tractor beam.

I upgraded to an oscillation overthruster many years ago... The power coupling effect really makes a difference.....

Here is the biggest favor I can do... all in two words, these programs are PRICLESS, IMHO.

ROBOFORM
CLIPMATE

Look for them, get them and enjoy the HUGE time savings... There AWESOME.

The stuff in red will be removed. It's "on the list"

The time issue as well, will be resolved. We have to keep tweaking text sizes, alignment, cell size, etc. Smaller screen resolutions is where it gets tricky to make everything look perfect.

Thank you for looking into it:thumbsup:

The time issue appears fixed now:thumbsup:

Any chance you can make the WHOLE row yellow again for unread threads?? Instead of just the title?

I want the whole row to be yellow but it's not as easy as on the old forum. Still looking into that one. I'm not a fan of the highlight but not the entire row being yellow.

Quite willing to accept the changes other than this one. On the list of last unread there is a nice bluish grey background but the lettering has an ugly yellow background that clashes and almost hurts my eyes. It would be so much better if it was all the same light colour.

before the upgrade when I clicked on a link in the e mails re a thread I was subscribed to I was taken to that thread, now I have to sign in with my password, and it does not then take me to the thread

The save button isn't working when editing a post. To get it to work, I have to click the edit post button shown at the bottom while editing a post, to edit the post again, then the save button works. It's hard to explain because it doesn't seem very intuitive to edit, then edit, then save.

I'm also starting to notice that if I read for too long, the new layout starts to give me a headache, possibly from eye strain. Seriously, I'm not kidding.

Which browser are you using?

As for the eye strain... don't know what to tell you as the font, text size, color, and background on posts is the same as it was with the old forum.

Randy,
That is NOT the problem! RobertN's flux capacitor is simply discharged. He connected his "Mr Fusion" incorrectly...

Please do not make this more complicated than it already it.

Wait till you hear about the problems with my "Tractor Beam" modifications...:confused2:

Be well,
David

My capacitor is having acid re flux from the changes on the site
