4310 seat base spring broken

jd will gladly sell me a new base for $450+ but all i need is a spring

has this happened to anyone here and where can i get just a spring?

i only have the seat off so far, i have to get the base off and the broken spring out

it's the suspension spring in the base, one of two

I will gladly sell you my one year old spring suspension base for $150+ (I just upgraded to the air suspension). Install this one, use your own base for spare parts. But to be sure it will fit, it's JD part #MIA11339. Hopefully it will fit the 4310

And if anybody needs a forward tilting (hinged and sliding) seat plate - JD #LVA14854 - I've got one that's never been used.

At that Price, you might as well upgrade to air ride.

Caution; I just did it, and found out that retrofitting costs ~50% more than if it was OE on the tractor.

the spring is 1/4 dia wire, 1 3/8 coil dia, 7 1/2 long over the coil with hooks at each end
