Was out push mowing around the house last night, the grass has grown several inches in less than ten days since the last mowing. Supposed to hit the mid-70's today and much of the rest of the week will be the same. More seat time, but I hate to get my shiny clean Deere covered with grass clippings again.

Had 2 inches of rain yesterday, more expected this afternoon. Too soggy for any real work with the soil. 62 degrees now... Pretty outside. May take the machete and just walk along some woodland roads to whack back weeds.
Back on the tractor later this week.

Getting redy for lunch. Helping my wife out today, have to take my dog to the vet later, looks like he scratched his eye. Wish the little guy could talk, so I know when something is wrong!!!

That's the worst thing about cleaning a tractor/car/mower etc...

You get it all nice and shiny, then you have to use it and get it all dirty again.

Oh well.

Surgery was at 4:00, and I was released by 5:30.

Hurts like the dickens now though... OOF!

What year is your 442? We have had a number of Oldsmobiles and still have a '93 Cutlass ragtop. The Formla must refer to a Firebird Formula. 400 maybe?

Up at 0500 and I actually SLEPT last night.

I am having massive issues with inflammation on my left hand requiring many 20 minute ice sessions that HURT!

Sunlight was just barely hinting at 0520, that was nice.

I checked on the chicks we are raising (the next generation) on the front porch in enclosed pens and I could hear some sort of critter making a yelp (not a howl or bark) in the trees up in front of the house, by one side of the driveway loop. I wonder what noise a baby fox kit makes? Hmmm... It was loud though. Interesting...

A "garden" to me is a plot where one grows flowers or veggies...not a lawn. It rained last night but is forecast to be clear the next several days, sure hope so. Cats are bugging me to get OUT so I will post this and grant their wishes.
