62 degrees, quite humid (91%) and cloudy. Should hit 68 today and heavy rain...same front that MossflowerWoods is getting as it moves up the coast.

Almost into the 60s here in the Virginia mountains... And rainy. Had a quarter inch so far, and rain expected the rest of the day. Overslept after weekend visit from kids and grandkids... Love 'em, but they wear you out. Plan to study the tractor shed in the rain today. Somehow rainwater running down the workshop falls on the metal tractor shed roof and seems to flow uphill a few inches to run down the wall of the workshop. Should be impossible, but it happens.

Spotty showers and 60's, going to about 75 they say. Had a good weekend as my grandson and son from Front Royal were here, and my grandson and daughter from 3 miles down the road were here, took the boys for a ride in the trailer behind the tractor, all over the property, favorite spot was over the septic mound that's a big hit!

Was a beautiful day yesterday to be outdoors, waxed the wife, went thru 6 gallons of weed and grass killer mix, mowed the house yard again, grilled burgers on the deck, stayed up late to watch the final episode of "Survivor" and for once the contestant I wanted to win pulled it off. 45 degrees now, going to skip thru the sale inserts from yesterday's paper after posting this.

That reminds me, I'm going to have to buy some weed killer for the gravel drive way some time. The person who lived in the house before us obviously didn't put sheets down before the gravel - Idiot!

Sorry... I will try to clean up my 'tood... It does feel gloomy here, I suspect mostly because I've only been home a couple days, and it is too soon for my girls to be gone all day when I have nothing (except for work) to do...

Look at it this way, the rain will make the grass grow there and you have repeatedly told us here how much you love to mow....up to 70 degrees now and bright sunshine it will be very humid later on. Going to spend much of today clearing out the old mint and chive plants in a raised bed area so I can replant with raspberries tomorrow.

Was up at 6AM had 7:30 tee time 55F at tee off. Golf course found my reusable coffee cup and pitched it. I have an attitude and know how to use it.

Surgery was at 4:00, and I was released by 5:30.

Hurts like the dickens now though... OOF!

Just poured first cup of coffee. 41 clear degrees this morning. Heading to 79 with sun and possible thunder storms this evening. Loading up the motorhome for a trip to Frankenmuth, MI today.

I do not think I slept a wink... I had to remove the splint & wrap due to inflammation making it too tight...

64 degrees and a steady, soaking rain...this is good. We need it after that dry winter.
74 is the predicted high...maybe thunderstorms.

As some of you know, I was offered a federal job in WV. I filled out all the (online) forms (for a security clearance) and submitted them yesterday. Got to go get fingerprinted today...
