Heck, while you are at it get with the Mythbuster crew and get them to rig up a few servos and the remote controller so you can back it out of the barn, drive it up to the house for curbside pickup on those snowy days.

A few years ago there was a guy selling one on Ebay for the RTV 1100, it had on, glow and crank buttons, it is nice to have a warm cab in the winter.

So you're going to start it while it's in the barn? Won't that smoke up the inside of the building?

Same remote start that is used on my diesel truck. They can either start when the computer senses that the glow plug light has gone out or by a timer that is preset for so many second delay before it starts. Also has a turbo timer to wait until the EGT's get below 300 deg F before the engine shuts off.

Might as well stay in the house and r/c your tractor to push snow in your pj's with a cup of coffee.

Now I like the turbo timer. How long does it take for shutdown?
Make and model truck?
What's involved to install?

02' F-350 Powerstroke. You set the timer for however long you want. I timed mine to cool from 900 deg F to under 300 deg F in 2 min. I know that's extreme and I never come in that hot, but I was curious. Normally 400-450 down to under 300 deg F in 30-45 sec. I set my timer at 2 min. Installation, is basic wiring. Follow instruction to splice in, add an under hood switch to prevent theft by-pass. If the truck is running and you get in and step on the brake without putting the key in the ignition and turning it to the on position, the truck will shut off to prevent theft. I use it all the time in the winter. Even when I run into the store and it's below 0 deg F.

Compared to what 4shorts has done to his tractor, this is nowhere near over the top.

True. I did start another post on my hydraulic power quick attach for the FEL. Gotta get the pix and video on.

I was thinking it was Factory when you said same as on your diesel truck. That's why I asked make and model. Now I am thinking it's aftermarket.

Not Factory Ford, correct? If not, make & model of Remote Start Kit please!
Not really interested in remote start, but like the shutdown delay feature.:D

Yes it is aftermarket. A subsidiary of Clarion called Ungo.
