So I’ve been on this mission to find a candle that actually gets rid of funky smells in my apartment instead of just layering “vanilla cupcake” on top of yesterday’s leftover curry. My nose is tired, my guests are too polite, and I’m honestly starting to think I’m candle‑cursed. I keep buying ones that promise to neutralize odors, but they all just… lie. If anyone here has cracked the code on choosing candles that *actually* work, I’m begging for your wisdom.

All a candle will do is overpower the smell. You need to find the source of the smell and neutralize that.

What about Febreze ?They make sprays and plug-in odor neutralizers, so claimed I have not used either, just can't fathom the idea of adding more stuff into my breathing air, except as a byproduct of using a glue, etc., or cooking odors.

If you like the smell of a campfire, I've used this product for years. Sawdust compressed unlike cheap chinesium candle that may have who knows what in them. I get Pinon or Juniper as I always enjoy a P or J campfire when out west.

An UN-scented candle REMOVES odors through the process of COMBUSTION!
