Zane from Oklahoma. I have been involved with farming, ranching and now Pecan growing and harvesting. Had a maintenance supervisory job in local school district for 20 years. Now Pecans full time. A lot less stress full. Do all my own mechanic work. Hope to meet new people and make new friends. I will gladly share my knowledge if I can be of service. Currently have 10 tractors involved in this operation JD, Ford, and Allis Chalmers.

I have oodles of pecan trees here in south central Oklahoma but they are native not papershell and not spectacular producers most years. Of course the flavor is outstanding.

Pecans--know where your coming from. Around here in the North Sacramento Valley we have thousands of acres of almond, pistachio and English walnut orchard. The walnut is a graft (CA black walnut root stock with grafted English walnut).

Welcome Zane. I see you're from God's country. I used to spend my summers with my Granddad who lived at Zena; loved it there.
