John Deere 4x20 and 3x20 tractors use the same aux light part number. They are not real cheap $62.83 I think. I have had one on my 4720 since 2007 but have recently broken the lens (don't ask) and have found that JD does not apparently carry/have replacement lenses. You have to replace the entire unit; wire bundle, aux light housing, bulb, lens, etc.

Does anyone know the source that JD uses for these aux lights so I can find the lens or does anyone know of a replacement lens that will fit. So far I have struck out.

go online to sloan express. part # 097525 is the light assembly. $19.99 It is a 3x5 oval made by speaker. Your correct no separate lense, it is a whole assembly with a bulb. You wont find just a lense.

Your dealer or any case ih dealer can get them as well. they are very common lights on newer tractors and combines.

Is that the same light that is on the cab tractors?

Thanks for the info. After I read your response looked at the website and then googled Speaker had a great discussion with the Speaker factory guy as well. Interestingly the only place the manufacturer is marked is on the broken lens. They were amazed that anything other than a pellet rifle or 22 would have broken the lens due to the material. He pushed LED replacement but way too expensive 199 vs 19.99.

go on ebay and buy a HID conversion kit and put in. 30-40 dollars and you'll have awesome lights.

Those lights take and 880 style bulb, so go on ebay and type in "880 HID conversion."

I've used the xentec brand and had decent luck with them, or the vvme brand i've had a little better luck with. I usually get 4-6k temperature lights.

yes it is

Well I haven't plowed at night yet but I can't say I'm impressed by the factory lights. The grill headlamps appear to have far more CP. I'm not going to change them but if I do something dumb-like snag a limb in the woods, I don't think I will replace in kind.
