No snow for up here. I haven't dug up the Dahlias yet, maybe this weekend but they are still blooming so maybe I'll wait a few more weeks.
Woke up to 8 inches of the stuff here this morning, then got 2 more on top of that.
It would be perfectly fine if it was December, but not October!
People still have flowers blooming

I haven't even started on the leaves yet!
I'm gonna have less leaves in the future, alot of tree damage in my yard, branches and small trees down all over
Compared to just a few small branches during hurricane Irene :confused2:

And of course, here is a pic:
here in central Pa. not to bad, heavy wet snow maybe 4" on the ground would have been a lot if the snow was a little drier.Amounts would have been double or more for sure. Power flickering off and on but ok for now.I beleive worst is over for us just small flurries now at 9pm. I think I'm just going to let it melt plowing it will really make a mess out of my gravel driveway. Good luck to the rest of you.
It looks like you are moving more snow with the mower than the bucket:laughing:
Glad to see you got your power back. And it looks like you got more snow than the forecast that WHP put out yesterday morning. We got a solid 8" in the south central (York) area...cleaned the back porch off twice. 3" first time...4-5 inches the econd time. Now we have 3-3.5 inches to clean off. That comes to between 8 and 9 inches.
Lost power at about 1100 this morning...with the tractor stuck in the garage!! Oh well...it'll get plowed on Sunday. Just came back on a few minutes before I typed this (2245).
I think we lost one tree or branch in the drive, but the limbs are hanging so low out there, I can't really tell at this time.
Just think if this had been a dry snow...we'd be looking at 15-20 inches.
Glad to see you got your power back. And it looks like you got more snow than the forecast that WHP put out yesterday morning.
