B2920 HST Creaking Sound

I too have to report that my b2320 is making the same noise as efish's youtube vid.


Should I start with this drive shaft cover? I suppose it is the front drive shaft cover that everyone is speaking about?

I also have a noise from time to time when I first start the tractor.
It will make a buzzing aound for a second or two then go away.. mybe five or six bouts of it then go away.

does anyone think these two sounds are related?

I will crawl under and look around tonight to see where this driveshaft cover is. I will try and take a video of the sound it makes when sitting at idle.

Quick update... The noise is still present on my tractor. It's noticeably more severe between 2600-2800 rpm.

I'll be borrowing a trailer and having a local dealer inspect it within a few weeks.

My dealer dropped off my new ZD 326 today and was able to drive my B2920.

He agrees that it is making excessive noise and is going to speak with his mechanics and test other units at his dealership.

Hope that works out for you. I guess I'd rather the tractor actually be in the shop and being repaired or at least evaluated for a repair. Please do keep us informed.

Well I own a 2920 and had a chattering that was driveing me NUTS, finally found out what it was. The locking pins on the FEL pins were rattling bad, a little duck tape and all is quite again. Thank God for duck tape. As you can see there is room for them to rattle.
