W. H. Long stood behind my toothbar

Bought a toothbar through Iowa Farm Equipment, it was drop shipped from W.R. Long, and the first time I used it one of the teeth broke off. Called W.R. Long and they told me if I had it welded back on they'd pay the bill. They gave me instructions for the welder to preheat the bar and use a flux core rod, cost me a $100 and they cut me a check the same day. Attached is photo before and after the break. Says a lot when a company is that quick to stand behind their product and get you working again.

I lost a pin for a grapple, went to the factory and tried to buy a pin, they would not sell it to me... instead they gave it to me free!!! Super nice guy... cool factory, too.

They are great folks to work with... My only question would be why it cost you $100 to have that tooth welded back on... that seems very high to me!!!

Prices in Chicago suburbs are higher than North Carolina. It just cost me $100 to have the appliance guy come and give me an estimate to fix the refrigerator.

I bought a grapple from them and couldn't be happier with the customer service. I've called multiple times with different questions "long after they already had my money" and everytime I spoke with Nelson, and he always stayed on the phone with me and surpassed my expectations with answering my questions.

I will definitely buy from him again, even if an item costs slightly more than somewhere else. :thumbsup:

I had bought a tooth bar also and snapped one side off they shipped me a new one no charge.
