I have to replace the clutch bearing. Just thought you guys might want see some more pictures. This is my 1st time and everything is going good. The loader frame had 32 bolts holding it on, over kill and it's heavy.

Thats a load of work:mad: A bit strange in my eyes, that tractor look like a pretty low hour unit...so why bad bearing so soon?...By the way is it the "clutch release bearing" you mean? I cant see what other bearing it can be around the clutch. Keep up the good work:thumbsup:

Yikes, that looks like alot of work..

I give you alot of credit for tackling that job yourself!

...so why bad bearing so soon?...

Most common causes of premature release bearing failure are operator not taking foot off clutch pedal ("riding clutch") or moisture...like being submerged.

If I were OP, I'd also replace pilot bearing...

I know why it went, the guy before me tried to back drag the weeds out of his pond and it didn't work. Its a hst and no need to ride the clutch. The bearing was making noise when I got and I new it, but only use the clutch for starting. I got it when it had 148hrs on it. There is 400 something now. If it wasn't for that the bearing would of lasted a long time.

Its been interesting doing it.I made the stand so the front wouldn't tip and when going back together I have control of the front. Just hope it works as good as I think it well. The stand well fit alot of tractors not just this one.

Had to replace an oil seal on the clutch housing output that went bad after some hay got wrapped up in it. It was about an 8-9hr job, but it was worth it considering the whole job cost me about $10, vs hundreds for the dealer to do it.
