I broke my toe this morning while going into my bathroom.

Ouch! Broke toes hurt and there ain't much the doctor can do for them. When i broke my big toe and the two beside it, the doctor looked at them and said "yeah, they're broke, you'll have to be real careful walking around for a few weeks," just before leaving the room. I asked, "You're not going to put some kind of bandage around them for protection?" He replied, " you won't bump them but one time."

He was right, after the first toe jam, I became very careful.

Good luck.

OUCH! I've never broke a toe, ankles, arms yeah. Toe , what a painful place to break.

I think I would be tempted to get my tractor and remove whatever obstruction caused the "accident". Just say'in

Yep, broken toes hurt LOTS; had more than one, but I got mine motorcycle racing, mountain climbing, logging and such not going to the bathroom.

Just kidding, actually the last one I broke was...

I then went down bouncing off the wall, window sill and night stand; looked like a darned Laurel and Hardy movie.

Although I did not break my left big toe , While moving a large desk up a flight of stairs for some people , it was pushed onto my left foot including my big toe . Pain , Oh Yea , Intense to say the least . A few days later , I tried go steelhead fishing in the river just down the road from our place . This was in March , so i was wearing insulated waders . Two pairs of socks , waders , another pair of socks , waders shoes , then water . Lasted about 10 minutes , before I had to bail . Thought the cold water would make it less painful , like a numbing effect , thats what I get for thinking though .

Here is my latest F*** - up :
While moving my clamp on forks , was carrying them with one hand on the cross bar and other on one of the forks . Went to set them down by leaning them against my rear blade . One end kind of bounced on the ground , so while brain was saying " Let GO!!! " , hand was saying " Duh , What " , which quickly became " Oh S*** " . Followed by many other choice vocabulary words . My finger became a sort of pad between the cross bar of the forks and the box frame of the blade .

Ain't it the truth. I never quite figured out if it was best to "bail" or "ride it out"; tried both and the end results always seemed in end the same way.

I rode dirt and street both and sure miss it in spite of a few minor broken bones and road rash.

My motto in the dirt was "if you ain't crashing, you're really not trying"; pavement not so much, but I did push it too far a few times. Funny everyone told me I would get killed on my motorcycles, but a car wreck was what got me.

Only bone I ever broke, and not even sure it was really broke, everyone said it was though, as it turned the deepest shade of purple and hurt like an SOB :(
Some numb nuts working next to me dropped an 8 inch masonry block on me  worst of all it was the bosses son, so I couldn't do much about it.

I got hit in the thumb nail by a masons hammer, by some one else also.

Was near the end of the day so I just went home cause it hurt real bad. The old timer mason I was working with said to heat a pin red hot and poke it thru the nail to relieve the pressure, WHAT??? No way I was going to do that I thought to myself.
As I was driving home it was throbbing and hurt so bad I was getting dizzy :confused2: By the time I got home I started looking for a pin!

I wont go into all the details, but man let me tell you there could be alot of pressure built up under a purple fingernail!!! The pin trick did work, as it provided instant relieve :)

A hot pin works good. But in the first shop I worked in I had my first throbbing purple nail. Owner pulled out a jet drill and gave it a quick spin. Instant relief!! Needless to say I keep one around just incase.
