Price Check Just bought 1500d

Hey guys, I'm a noobie here so take it easy!! Any way just picked up a
1500D with 231 hrs !!!! on the reliable meter with a FEL, box blade , and scraper for $2700.00 how did I do? When I looked at it the tractor it had not been cleaned (green paint under red on inner fender) and the owner said it had not been started in about six months (looked like it was in barn for years not months), so in went the battery and to my surprise after letting spin over several times with decomp actuated it fired right up. Drove it around and operated as many levers that I knew about no grinding or fluids leaking (yes it had fuilds in it). Hopefully the picture attaches. Tell me what ya think!

I think you should have worn a mask and carried a gun if you got that tractor for $2500:thumbsup:. I expect you'll love it as much as the rest of us love ours. Good job.

I doubt its the first 231 hours on a mid-70's tractor. But that's a great model and you bought it a half what many others paid for theirs.

Stole it! That loader would easily bring $800-1000 alone i think. The tractor bare could sell for $2000. The BB say $250ish and scraper for say $100. You basically bought the tractor and the BB and the rest was FREE.

What a great deal ..... you should be happy. I would change all the fluids and filters and give it a good going over. Grease all the zirks as well. All the best and welcome to the site, you will find good information here as well as a great group of guys!!
