Today the wife and I bought a 20,000 dollar hat that came with a free Kioti DK40Se and 401Fel.(this is how the dealer put it.:D) I ended up with two sets of tires Ag's and Turf's. Should be delivered Saturday. I will post pics then.

Welcome to the pack! I have 3 three expensive hats and the same tractor/loader as you.

It's my first tractor, and it's as handy as a pocket knife. I keep coming up with new ways to be productive with it.

Last weekend I needed to replace some fence, loaded a pallet of all the tools and supplies, used the forks on the loader to pick up the pallet and haul it to the site, then used the tractor pull the fence against.

Welcome. I'm sure you'll love that hat carrier. Had mine for a few years now and it is a truly great machine.

I'm curious about your two sets of tires. 1) Why did you decide to do that, 2) are you loading either set with liquid ballast and 3) how are you going to change them?

I was going to go with the Industrials.. Decided that they are not good at anyone thing. I do a lot of work in the fields (plows, disk) so I ended up with loaded ag's and a spare set of turfs for mowing in june july and august.. I plann to change the tires after Im done with field work in the spring switch to turfs, then put ag's back on in the fall for planting.. I'll let you guys know how it works.

Just be careful if your Ag tires are loaded. They would weigh about 900lbs each and can be very dangerous and difficult to handle by yourself without equipment.

I kinda remember the hat! I think my wife got it, and I got the tractor. Congrats on your purchase. As has been said, you will find so many ways to enjoy it.

Mike4282;
You will not regret your decision to purchase both sets of tires. I also have Ags and Turf tires for my BC CT235. They can be a handfull to change and mine are "not" loaded.

Tip; The rears can be a chore to pop off the hub. Keep two bolts attached and loose, stick a long bar in behind your ROPS and pull against the inside of the tire and they will pop right off. I put a bit of greese on the rims before reinstalling and the rears now come right off when I change back and forth.

In January bought a CK30HST w/FEL, also rounded up a used 72" box scraper, and a set of pallet forks. Recently purchased a new KeenKutter 72" finish mower. That is one grass eating son of a gun.
I looked at quite a few different tractors before deciding on the Kioti. Seems to be heavier built than most. I did notice that it is 600 lbs heavier than a comparable NH TC33D. Hoping I made the right choice, but I think I did. Dealer is only about 25 miles away, NH dealer is about 15 miles away.

I also have one of those expensive hats. Hardly ever wear a hat, but I still took it.

I decided on the Ind tires, felt they were the best for my situation.

Bought mine for yard work, grass cutting, general work around the place. So far I love that Kioti.

I just joined the pack this week too. It really does feel good to have a nice new tractor for the farm work. Now our next order of business is to get them dirty, and post some pictures. Congratulations.

Welcome Redgate. You are correct that one of the initiation rights of the pack is to post a suitably dirty photo of your tractor at work. Prissy garage queen shots do not count!

I received my DK35 HST three weeks ago.

Instead of the hat I opted for the spare CK35 (photo attached). I'll post photos of the DK35 when it is suitably dirty.

I've had my DS4510HS for about a month now. If you want to get it real dirty do what I did and clean off those muddy tyres with a high pressure water hose.

Guaranteed to put mud all through your sparkling clean toy.

And yes, I spent long hours hand cleaning off every speck with a rag

Love my Kioti.
