GT275 Loses spark

Hi Im new to this forum and looking for some help with my gt 275 that seems to be losing spark. The tractor will start and run good but if you shut it off it will not start, not every time but most. I have cleaned and check the coil but it seems to me that it is a saftey switch because if you start it and get off the seat it will die like it should but then it will not start if you stay on the seat and shut it off with the switch it will start up every time . Is there a switch on the brake (clutch) petal any where? i have tried to pull the white wire and still nothing it seems if you let it sit is the cure. any help thanks

I would start by pulling your kill wire off of your coil. That will eliminate the rest of the wiring circuit. Then crank it over to check for spark. Make sure your flywheel magnet is clean as well. Coil might be breaking down when it gets hot and loses spark, and starts working when it cools off again.

Sounds like the switch on your seat has a dirty contact or something is obtructing the operation of the switch.
