E-Mail Notification Delivery

Everything shows that mine is set for instant notifications, and always has been, so we'll see what happens. Since I cleaned out all the old subscriptions there are only 3, including this thread, but so far no e-mails.

I have 4 with this one and set for instant notification ... waiting on my first email

Ok, everything should be fixed now. E-mails shouldn't have dead links and shouldn't be going to your spam folder.

I can't imagine how you can be sure that TBN emails won't go to people's spam folders ... & even if you can, won't actual spammers be able to figure it out too, & then we have to invent a new spam blocking technique for them that might again block TBN emails ... & around & around we go ... ??!

Well there was a specific problem that caused the messages to be viewed as spam by gmail, which we fixed. other providers and programs, who knows.

So, I just bookmarked the "Subscriptions" link to see all my subscriptions. I now like doing that much better. I don't get any subscription emails, and I just click on my bookmarked link and can tell which subscribed threads have new activity by their darker color. I get enough emails as it is and this way is foolproof.

You made me realize: I also just open & browzer & go to http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/usercp.php when I feel like checkin' into TBN ... so no need to get email notifications sent to me ... so I just turned that off.

Did you specify instant e-mail notification when replying?

Another thing you can do is post a test thread with instant e-mail notification and wait for another user to reply.

We are tracking all outgoing e-mails and none are being ISP blocked so if your e-mail address is correct, it's getting delivered. That leads to the notification settings.

I set it to email me about this thread and I have not yet got one for the last several posts.
