Well, except for the party hats and beer bottles under the couch.

There's a bad plan. Maybe you can't remember, or haven't heard, the berating from the SO when they find them while vacuuming

If nothing else, I think that this "Thread" has taught all of the TBN members, what life is like, on the "Other-side-of-the-Counter" and that's a good thing. Probably a good learning experiance that there are Dealers, that are not attempting to "Bend-you-Over" at every opportunity, and are actually there to help you. Unfortunately I think there are consumers that walk into any commodity dealer, with a "Me vs. Them" mentality. I remember that my Dad, was a 'fierce' negotiator, when it came to buying used cars! He instilled in me, that this was paramount to, "Warfare"! "Watch this Son, I'll show you how this is done"! My experience has tempered with age, as my Dad has passed on. I don't mind dealers making a profit, heck, that's what keeps them in business! I just don't want to be 'raped'!
From time to time, you're going to have situations where a "Hard-Nosed" Consumer, is going to clash with a "Straight-Up" Dealer. The results are seldom 'pretty'! This appears to be one of those occasions! Two cents duly submitted! ~Scotty

Maybe it sat like this for a while.

BTDT, but I'd much rather use a Case than a deere. With the Case it's much easier to run the rear boom with your right hand while reaching back with your left to run the front loader and bucket at the same time.

I can lift and push with the rear while lifting and rolling the front all in a smooth movement. Dug most of the drainage ditches on the farm that way. I think that machine is about a foot deeper than I was though. Still the same principle as long as you don't flood the engine.

I'd much rather run a cat 420d than a deere and am not fond at all of the case. The problem here was that there was no bottom and I was stuck next to a large post oak that would not let me lift and move over. the front bucket would sink 2 feet before putting any upward pressure. It took a deere 700lgp to pull it out and both front tires came off the rims.

you're killing me now.

It's like AGGIE00 said, It's what you're use to. Cat & Deere have good machines, I just like the Case backhoe controls 'cause I don't have to think about what I'm doing to use them. With Cat & Deere, I swing every time I try to curl.:confused2::laughing:
