Tractor
JD 2520
Santa came early this year and so did the snow. The weatherman was calling for some much nicer weather than this. Anyway, I got the tractor with the 200CX Loader, the 46 Backhoe, the 54" Blade and the BB1060 box blade. I can't wait to start some of the projects I have planned for this toy, uh tool.

Neat. There goes the neighborhood. :)

Those teeth on the bucket will easily get through the hard packed snow and ice. :D

Congratulations!

That is a beautiful machine and a beautiful home.

Is that a John Deere supplied toothbar on the bucket?

Wash the salt off it, if it got any from the roadtrip. That crap eats the green gold off your pretty tractor! Nice unit, you'll love it!

This was a completely unexpected snow fall, so no salt on the road. The picture coming off the rollback and the next pictures where you can barely see any snow were two hours apart.

I bought my tractor used - no complaints - but I got to tell you every time I see a post of a perfect new one... Congrats and Enjoy!

Congrats...from Harford County MD. I have a JD 3720 and waiting on order for a 4720 (trading the 3720). I got teeth too, new to me, was wondering if I did the right thing, but figure I could take them off if needed...let me know how you like the theeth.

My property is infested with Mile-A-Minute, I am told the toothbar does wonders on it. Just skim in and rip it up without digging super deep.

good idea. my property was an old horse farm...lots of bumps. using the FEL would be better than using a box blade...sounds like somthing to add to my to-do list.

I had a buddy haul my 2520 home in a enclosed box truck, because there is no way I was going to haul it thru the salt to get it home. I'm sure it might have had some salt on it from in transit, but it was washed real clean, maybe even with hot pressure washer.

Today's projects: Remove some cement footings for some old post in the middle of the yard. Maybe start punching through some of the roads and paths I have been planning on.

Nice machine. First thing to do.... dig a large hole in the front yard. Show the neighbors what a real machine can do. Besides then you have seat time digging and filling.
I never gave a thought to adding teeth to my 4110s loader bucket. It worked great for spreading breaker rock. I guess its larger brother with the turbocharger handles the heavy work. The way JD builds them it should last until you see a new designed hood / headlamp arrangement that catches your eye....... at least that happened to me three times !
