...Renault...
I had a four door back in the 70's...can't remember the model (it was squareish) but I do know it had the most comforatabe bucket seats that I have ever sat in...more comforatable than a high end Barcalounger...

Egon, I don't care much for the pink color, but otherwise I thought that '59 Cadillac looked pretty good; even better than my two one green '55 Couple deVille.:D 1959 was a bad year for GM suspensions; way too soft. You needed to replace all four shocks with Monroe load levellers (shock absorber with a coil spring around it).

don't diss the caddy's from the 50's or 60's. Not when all the rest had way better to offer in the ugly class. One more I hope this offends no one. The new T-birds. Terrible.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I'm with Egon on the pink Cadillac. My dad liked them but then, he was old!

My Polish buddy spoke of the Trabant.

It had 600 cc two stroke engine 25 HP in the latest incarnation. It had disproportinally high fuel consumption. The car mass was about 1300 lb but it would make barely 24 mpg.

The new T-birds. Terrible.

When appearance only is considered, I thought the 1957 Thunderbird was a beautiful car and Ford hasn't made a decent looking one since.

I vote Aztec. OR heck I could go with the Pontiac Transport -- really ugly in the 1995ish era....

I have a 1978 Buick Century Special that has to be the ugliest car that General Motors ever built. Do you have one that will top it? Ken Sweet

You can't tell by looking at that ugly car, That it came out with a 5 Liter engine and automatic transmission. I made a couple changes under the hood. I put in a small block chevy bored .60 over with high performance heads, Holly Street Avenger 670 CFM Carb, Aluminum high rise intake manifold, Roller rockers, Crane Competition cam, 410 pos track gears, 350 turbo tranny with a Torque converter and 2000 stall, shot of nitrous. My neighbors call it the "Green Hornet" Ken Sweet

How about the infamous Vega,or did they take those off the car list? Actually saw one going down the road about 8 months ago hadn't seen one in years, and yes I know some people used to put small blocks in-em and they would haul butt, but I'm talking factory stock.
Boone
Yeah I rember them .
I was watin for them to come out so i could buy one .
I'm thinkin i got tired of wating and got somerinig else.

Really not a lot of ugly GM Think about how many good looking cars that GM built?
* I don't know that I can even pick a favorite one.
GM probably built more sharp cars than anybody else .

**Note: My pal had a Plymouth Horizon.
***How many of you painted your first car with a paint brush ?
**Dodge had their ugly version of it.
***Guilty: I painted my first car a 1950 chevy with a paint brush .
Masked it off right down the center from front to back.
Painted the left side red and the right side black.
Had lots of fun with that one .
Lots of comments .
It was quite a conversation piece.

I agree Bill I love the old 55's and like maybe even an early 60's would be ok. But they missed the target on trying to redo the classic. Lines just aren't there.

I do think that after the first 2 years, they improved both the looks and the performance of the corvette but you don't know what you missed if you never drove a 1953-54 model; straight 6 engine, 3 carbs, powerglide transmission.
