aztek for sure. 80's ford escorts. new scion boxes or whatever they are called. I hate the new vw bugs. Old ones I can live with. corsicas, berretta's, chevettes, etc...
and porche 914 what were they thinking with that one?
another pontiac Fiero. I know that probably irked somebody. sorry

That was my first car ..... almost ...... except mine was a Maverick Grabber and had a black vinyl roof (plus rear spoiler, black striping, and faux hood scoops :cool2:)...... that one is almost the right color - mine was more of a greener "lime green" though, more like this (hey, it was the 70's ):

Hey, K7LN-- I almost forgot about Chrysler! The car in your pic looks suspiciously like the '58 Imperial my Mom drove for a while.... great road car, but UGLY!! For someone of the age of just learning how to drive, it was downright embarrassing to be seen in!

Some of those early 60s Dodges were also interesting..... like the '61, right after everybody decided that maybe fins were now "out" so they just cut 'em off.....

I thought that 1978 Buick Century Special was just "plain" instead of ugly. For ugly, I agree with jinman that the Pontiac Aztek would be the winner, and for trucks, the Chevrolet Avalanche is the hands down winnter.:)

I actually liked my avalanche (got rid of it because f the mechanical problems and it being an accident magnet yellow attracts cars to you 3x in 1 year) ridge-line knock off missed the mark.

I think the Chevette and the Aztec are neck and neck. Gosh, over the years across all makes there have been some doozies!

Note: My pal had a Chevette and a Plymouth Horizon. Called them the "s--tvette and the horrozone"

How many of you painted your first care with a paint brush or a roller? We sure did

Even though some of the models were not the best looking automobiles...one exception I think is the AMC Eagle...the single tone 4x4 wagons are a rather handsome vehicle...and very sturdy I might add...the standard curb weight on the Eagle was close to 4k pounds...

I have pulled more 4x4 pick up trucks out of the mud and precarious situations with my Eagle than I can remember...(even one F250)

Those were some TOUGH cars! I like the looks of the higher stance. I still see quite a few of them on the road.

Ain't fair to limit it to GM. How about Skoda, that was one ugly piece of steel.

And Trabant, anybody heard of that? Was not even steel:)

I rode in one for the first time this last weekend. Am I mistaken, or do you always have everything from behind you blow into the 'cab' when you have it in the "pickup" configuration? Maybe Gary didn't close something, I dunno. All I know is that I was covered with grit and dirt after a mile down a gravel road. I could write 'wash me' on his dash!
