Stupid barrel pump hose question

The pipe that comes out o the barrel pump.. is it threaded? If so, remove it and find a reducer fitting that will fit it AND some real fuel hose.. either the rubber stuff from napa.. or the 'real' pieces at places like tractor supply.

Good thinking, I just bought the $19.99 HF rotary pump for my barrel and have burning up the site trying to figure out how to hook up a hose to it. Sounds like a very good idea, I'll be off to the auto parts store in the morning...

yep.. threaded fitting to hose barb, then real fuel / gas hose like a filling station uses.. or fuel raded rubber line from a auto store.
