JD LA115 falls off trailer....

This was an ad on CL of a JD LA115 mower that came off of the trailer. Here's the ad:

Have a deere 115 auto matic this deere was in a accident and came of the trailer the deck is bent a little bit and the back axle i think

Honestly, I don't think it would be worth his asking price if it hadn't fallen off the trailer!! Apparently his insurance isn't going to cover it. :confused2:

That seat doent look to comfortable anymore. :laughing:with the bent axle, i bet it is a pretty bumpy ride. I wouldnt pay $500 for that in such condition.

How do you find such videos? I can't believe someone would do that. Did you notice the police car that went by just after they pulled into that driveway near the end of the video? Probably someone on cell called it in I was thinking.

I've seen several antique tractors pulled into Farmington the past couple days. I was thinking of going over there on Saturday if the weather is dry.

Yup, show starts in the AM. I will be there at some point Saturday morning. I am 6'4" and only 144lbs and I will have my 32" trained midget with me. Be sure to say "Hi"!

I'm 5'-9' and 200lbs - no food tent required I'll wear my John Deere hat, that will stand out. Ha ha, actually I will be wearing a light blue ballcap that has 'Alaska' on the front. Hope we run into each other.

To me thats only a parts donor. $1000.00 someone must be kidding. For comparison I paid $1000.00 for a deere GT235 5 years ago and the only damage was some cracked plastic and the seat cover was detached from the seat pan.

Well at least the guy on the mower admits he's an idiot on his YouTube text description. He's lucky the tires didn't blow since they aren't Z-rated Goodyear Eagles; otherwise he would have done a serious crash & burn flip. I was thinking the RR tracks gave both the idiot and a the mower a serious shaking. But on the other hand, let's give him some credit for having a tow-strap far stronger than the load that mower ever put on it.

I eat like a horse. Just one of those lucky people..... Lucky as long as you don't see my grocery bill! The midget is my son. I'm guessing you haven't figured my age quite right.

Gotta go get Bigger Blue this morning. Drove it 45 minutes to the north end of the Hinkley road in Clinton for my Bro'inlaw to use. Apparently he won't be mowing his 1/4 acre lawn for a while, and his wife no longer likes me because he has decided he needs a bit more than a LawnChief.

As for the tractor, yes, parts. But not at that price. Engine, spindles, tires, etc would all be nice, but he has to realize his own stupidity and either put it out in the back of the garage or just do whatever to get it out of sight where it can't toss "you're an idiot for killing me" insults at him every time he looks. Kinda like "beating heart" or whatever the old story was.

But, I don't think he realizes the consequences of being an idiot. If anyone like that ever came in looking for a job, I'd turn him down flat and black-list him to everyone I know. I don't need that kind of idiot anywhere near me.
