Assume you're tallking to me. Seats have no suspension.Seats are comprised of a pan,padding,and cover.Seat suspension on the original GR series like mine is nothing more than a block of rubber sandwiched between a double-hinge mechanism.The newer 2110/2010 series is much improved using an adjustable spring suspension.The seat on mine came from an online Kubota dealer out east.This seat was the "good will" seat available to Kubota dealers for a very low cost to give away or sell cheaply to customers that complained of the nasty slide-off seat that came standard on the BX series tractors.I paid around 80 for it,and another 60-80 for the armrest kit.It's thicker,so it sets up a little higher.I already said the bolt pattern is a direct fit.Huge improvement in comfort.

I don't know if this would work on your tractor but I remember reading on this site where someone put a tube from a wheel barrow under their tractor seat and inflated it with air. It was said to make a big difference. A tube could likely be bought for less than $10.00.

Been there,done that,and also tried harley seat springs.Tube got pinched and the springs just didn't work.Only way to fix it right would be to replace the whole suspension assembly with the new design.I'll check and see what it costs.

Stopped by the dealer today.The whole suspension substructure is around $600.Ouch!
