Saw that it was hung up, not allowing the loader frame to set on the pins, so I grab the cross bar on the loader, give it a little jiggle, and the loader fell right into place, with the knuckle of my ring finger smashed between the cross bar and a quick disconnect.

the result of my having been in a hurry at work a little over a year ago.

I repair forklifts, in a hurry to get a repair done so I could move on to others, I wasn't thinking about where my hand was, I lost the end of my right index finger to the second knuckle. and crushed the middle finger, as a result I have lost 30% function of my right hand. I remind myself daily how stupid it was, and how bad it could have been ( half a second sooner it would have been my wrist )

Be careful out there guys, these MACHINES feel nothing, it's up to you to come back to the house alive with all appendages.

My finger hurts from just reading about it...ditto on the ring thing....my wife insists on me NOT wearing any rings after she witnessed one being cut off my finger while my finger was swelling up real fast...
