Thanks for all the replies. I think I have it under control as far as how to do it. But nobody answered as to what happens if I don't put anything but water in them. If I don't have to worry about freezing, will it cause any corrosion problems inside the tube? I think I have tubes...am I right in guessing ALL tractor tires in 1977? have tubes?

Also, I am using well water and I see a lil bit of rust in the pvc lines when I do any water line repairs.

IF you have tubes, and NEVER freeze.. then you will likely be ok.

I like to put a lil eco-safe anti freeze into mine, even here in florida for the corosion resistance (valve stem) and the odd chance when we do get a freeze.

Probably a high iron content in the water. Constant battle with rust stains here.
