Not sure if I can do this correct but here is something I thought some of you might find interesting. It is live feed from an owl box she has eggs that were due to hatch on the 15th.

I have been watching this and the Indianapolis falcon cam too (IndyStar.com | Falcon Blog | The Indianapolis Star). Thanks for posting. It might have been missed by some folks since it was in the Project section, instead of one of the other interest areas.

Ya I thought about where I posted after I was done. Hopefully some folks caught and enjoyed it.

A word to the squeamish, don't eat lunch etc while watching She doesn't have the best table manors

I'm kind of a nature nut, and enjoy lifes little secrets. The people running the owl box have been great IMO. They even had a school call in yesterday so the kids could ask questions.

I quess hope {the baby cub} left the den yesterday for the 1st time and got lost, 5hrs. They did happen to find her and get mom and baby back together. Seems there is a dog near by that may have scared them some. The owner of the pup agreed to keep pouch "chained up" for a couple of weeks so as not to get things wound up.

I moved this thread to the Rural Living forums from the Project forums. Unless you are planning a project that involves building an owl house, it makes more sense to have it here.

Funny you mentioned the owl box build. I have been wanting to make one for a couple of years, never seems to be enough time. I have made bat houses duck house bird houses and soon plan to try my luck at Top Bar hives for bees. Still would like to build an owl box...........maybe during the winter? :confused2::drool: :drool: :drool:
