B3030 Mid PTO

The specs say the B3030 comes with a mid PTO, yet when I put together a configuration on Kubota's site, it says I need a Mid PTO kit ($620). Is this because I also spec'd a MMM?

Purchased a new B3030 in Dec. 2008 and the mid pto was standard. I have the 60" mmm and it works great. You will enjoy the B3030 it's a nice tractor.

Thanks. Looking at your specs, you pretty much have what I'm interested in getting. All the same config. Who was your dealer?

The B3030 has the mid PTO.I needed the mid PTO kit-the driveshaft assembly-for the front snowblower/quick hitch.Perhaps the MMM requires a different kit for use with the mower?

PTO shaft is part of the MMM deck. Don't need anything else if it is a Kubota deck.

The B3030 has the mid pto standard (it is optional on the Grand L's like I have). The pto kit brings the mid pto to the front of the machine and requires the front quick hitch. If you are not purchasing a front blower and/or front broom you do not need it.

I am not trying to high-jack this thread but I have a somewhat related question. On the B3030, if you have a front snow blower with quick hitch, do you have to remove the quick hitch frame to put the FEL back on???

Yes,but it is seldom required,and not all that much work.

My dealer was H & R Agripower in Western Ky. They did not have the tractor in stock, but were able to get it inside a couple of weeks.
