I never had a need to run both mid and rear PTOs. Now I'm considering a rear PTO blower, and could cut the grass and blow leaves at the same time.

Any lessons learned on running them together. The tractor is 25 hp and the rear blower only needs 7 HP.

Dad and I frequently run the mid mount mower deck with the rear pto powered grass catcher on the back 3pt for picking up leaves. This is on our Kubota BX2230 tractors. Approximately 22hp engine, not sure what mid and rear pto's are receiving. Just as with any pto, engage them at engine idle speed, then raise engine speed to the rpms necessary for running the pto's. Usually it is marked on the tachometer(if equipped). Jon
