Please post your worst mud experiences

I need to retrieve firewood from some sections of property but it is pretty muddy. I can get through it with my 4x4 ATV but it ALOT lighter then my B3200, lol. I was wondering how well the B3200 HST will perform in fairly muddy conditions. I'm looking for pics if you got them to give me a better idea if I should attempt it or not.

Does your mud have a bottom? If it is pretty firm just down a ways you probably can get through. My muck gets muckier, and deeper with every turn of the wheel so I have to be pretty careful.

Its hard to tell, Some areas there is no bottom but I can avoid those areas. The areas I'm not sure about there being a bottom to, I've only had the ATV through them. I need to cross a small creek, but I plan on building a bridge out of barn beams. I'd try the mud if I had easy access to get another machine in there to pull me out, but that will be no easy task.

R4 tires are not the best for mud if you venture in do not try to spin your way through R4s will clog.

After 2 days and a winch I finally got it out.

The tractor would do fine... it's the tires that won't! I know there are a ton of people on this forum that just love R4s... but man are they useless in mud. My tractor I have now has R4s and I have stuck it more times than I care. My B series I had before this one had R1s and it would just putter on through anything I asked it to.

Agreed!!! They're great at digging/spinning you deeper into the mud too.

It all goes bad fast when the ground gets mushy... This is the pix of the BX24 sinking before I had my TC45DA to pull it out... No pictures of other sunk tractors I have... Sinking Feeling Part 2
To the point though - I have sunk R4 4WD tractors a lot more times than I have sunk R1 2WD tractors... and I have yet to sink a R1 4WD... not that I can't do it... just haven't yet.
R4's are great for lots of heavy loader work... R1's are great for lots of heavy ground engaging work.
