Ok, I am done being PO'ed at TBN for the whole Markham ban thingy and thought it was about time to contribute something.
It took a little longer than expected but I am finally moving forward with the rear remote install on the 273. My plan is still to use the 3 spool valve pictured that will be powered off the original remote set. This hoses powering the new valve will be connected using quick couplers so when I need to use the backhoe I can connect the hoe to the original remote set which allows for the constant flow.
I already made a bracket for the valve that will be secured to the ROPS via 2 u-bolts. The ROPS has a curve right about where I thought the bracket should be so I decided to mount the bracket a bit higher in order to keep the bracket simple in design. It actually works out pretty good and does not block the signal lights on the fender. I made the bracket using 7" 1/4" flat stock using wheel grinding discs for my cuts. 2ft of the 7" stock cost $13 and as it turns out I only needed 1' 6". Tried bending the metal but without a decent torch had no luck. Ended up cutting through about halfway with the grinder, heating the slit then bending then welding the bend closed. Worked ok I guess. The ubolts were 4"W x 3"D and I had to cut nearly an inch out of the width and weld them back together (good stainless fumes!) as the ROPS width is 3 inches. Hopefully it holds.. I was glad (don't like filing square holes) that the new valve only had 2 screw mounting holes because I plan on using carriage bolts to get a flush mount.
Sorry I didn't think of pictures when I started cutting & welding. Here are few pictures and I will post more as I finish it in a couple of days.
I Do Need Some Help:
I am needing some help getting the correct fittings for the valve. According to the manual the two sizes I will need are:
A) 3/4-16 SAE In/Out Ports (Qty 2) - Will need to be 90 degree
B) 9/16-18 SAE Work Ports (Qty 6) - Will need to be 45 degree
A) In/Out hoses will connect into these fittings directly or may need adapter. It needs to be a 90 degree bend. I am not sure if the end going into the valve needs to be beveled but I know it needs an o-ring.
B) These 6 fittings will connect the Female Pioneer Couplers directly or may need an adapter. Here again not sure on the side that goes into the valve whether it needs to be beveled but know it needs an o-ring.
So here is a link to the manual.

Can anyone me find what fittings I need for A) & B) ?
