I certainly don't want to start another tire war but I have R1's on my 790 and I get great traction on dirt and in snow. Wouldn't think of anything else. I actually thought the R4 would be more stable since they are lower and wider. Hadn't realized that the R1 wheels could be put wider. Thanks.

I had looked into it...From what I gather the instructions on how to program come with the "Enhanced" Cruise Kit and its fairly easy to do.

I'm not talking tires, I'm talking the rear wheel stance. You just can't get enough rear wheel width with the R4 wheels unless you go with some sort of wheel extension. The R1 wheels have the ability to adjust to several different widths. So, the R1 wheels are the way to go if you need extra stability.

There is NO WAY! I could have used the 3520 on my place with the factory wheel width.

I just received the final quote from this Dealer --
3520 with Hydo, rear lights, third valve, tool box, radio kit, 300cx loader, HD bucket, 3rd function hard lines, engine heater, cruise control upgrade ($89), horn, rear wiper, filled tires and me installing everything but the loader -- $30,586.60.
Still only $11,000 for my tractor and loader which he said he can't move on. I just can not justify almost $20,000 difference and even if I could get a dealer to discount 20% instead of what I think is about 14%, and if I sell my tractor myself for more, I don't see how to justify it. My 790 is not worth much more than is left on my zero interest loan and I invested $1000's of dollars in it.
My 790 does everything I have to do well except I get cold on it and I just graded a driveway for a neighbor and I don't think I could have done it with cab because of the trees so I'm going to stay with what I have.

I just agreed to buy a new 2007 JD-4520, cab, air seat, 400CXP loader, cruise, radio, ehydro, telescoping draft links, 3rd control valve kit, dual mid SCV, rear work lights, mirrors, auto type cruise control and industrial tires. I'm right at $35K out the door.
Sounds like your dealer is a bit high. Negotiate harder or shop another non-affiliated dealer. Good Luck!

God I would think with everybody in an Economic Panic... he would be willing to deal right now.. That is very high....!!! The negotiating prices have come way down since I bought my 3720 Cab tractor... I'm sure I paid way more than if I waited a year... but, when you need something... and they are hard to get.. and I was in a race against winter... I was willing to pay more...
A Realistic price would be about 31~33K.....
And yes... nothing beats the factory cab... it's worth every penny... I've had the other cabs... on other tractors... this cab is perfect...

Hello Dirt, I still think once in a while i might want to try Unverferth Hub spacers, buit sofar the Turf Speacials are working very good.
