I got my all my lights (front and rear kits) via Green South. They were quick, especially considering I'm on the other side of the country. The lights are a great help. I don't think I've seen it mentioned before, but on the 2320, you can have the headlights on and the auxillary lights off without modification or an additional switch. That was a nice surprise. With the main light switch, the first position is off, second position is flashers only, third position is all lights on - not flashing, fourth position is headlights and flashers - but not the auxillary lights. Perfect! No need to add another switch.

Deere - if you read this, the installation instructions need updating for the 23xx series. They currently only indicate installation on the 3xxx and 4xxx series - not that I would have followed them though :).

I'm curious mjncad - you could install 4th and 5th, but not 3rd scv? I would have thought you would have to go in order with 3rd first and 5th last. What tractor do you have?

Scott:

I have a 2001 4200. The third SCV kit uses the third spool of the SCV that powers the loader. The 4th & 5th SCV kit has it's own valve and requires the Power Beyond kit to function. I bought the PB and 4th & 5th kit from a dealer near our recently purchased properly. The salesman was a PITA and it took 6-weeks before he got it right. Since I was going to tear into the tractor, I said what the heck, add the third kit while I can still get it.

What I'm finding out is that PB and 3rd SCV tie into the loader SCV, so I'm installing the kits in parallel. I had to remove the control lever from the 3rd SCV kit's Quadrastat control assembly and install it on the 4th & 5th Quadrastat. That was easy; but apparently Deere didn't figure they would sell many of these kits as the fender cover didn't fit. It hit a couple of nylon bushings on the Quadrastat assembly. No big deal and my Dremel took care of it.

I'm hoping a 1-3/16" crowfoot wrench arrives tomorrow so I can get into the meat of the matter of installing these kits. I'll try and get a few pictures before all is buttoned up.
