14 in all but last one is a Kubota M4700 bought new. and still in great shape. But may be for sale next spring and b e replaced with a L48 TLB or a M59 TLB
Anyone use a power rake mounted on the front end? Take one for a skid steer and mount it on the loader?
Or would that not be a good ideal? Looking at one of the above TLB's for next spring. And the equipment for it also. That is if Kubota comes out with a cab on the M59 or just buy a L48 and get a after market cab.
Any thoughts on the power rake would sure help me out. Just thinking that on the loader I would be able to run it and not have to take the Hoe off.

Coincidentally, i've heard (read?) recently there is a guy who comes around here who recently purchased an M59 with a skidsteer type power rake. Maybe he has used it by now and will be able to give some feedback? Or video??;)

I sold it to him... I ran it for awhile. It ran okay. Your not going to set any speed records but its defentialy functional. If your looking to use it in a billing enviroment I'd recomend a 3pt model, but it should be fine for the occasional rental or home use.

Thanks if its going to be that slow mounted on the loader. I may be better with one on the back.
You would think it would be about the same speed as one being mounted on the front of a skid steer?
Thanks again and as for now I am just getting more info.

The M59 has about 30% less flow than a standard flow skid steer, so it runs somewhat slower. We setup the M59 this way for convienance. Like I said, it works, but I would not recomend going this way for daily use.

missed this. I'm the guy who bought it from neil.

So far I've been really happy with it. Haven't pushed it, but for what I've done with it it works well. I'm going to be able to push it this fall and really get a feel for it.

Haven't used the 3pt version, but so far I'd have no hesitation in doing it off the FEL again.

ANyone have an idea of what speed commercial guys would be looking for?

No idea on that, but I have noticed that the commercial guys tend to value speed more than I do. But then I'm doing it for recreation, and to me it has always seemed that getting recreation done quickly was just the slightest bit up-side-down.

one of the reasons I bought it was speed - ground prep with rototiller and rake and picking up rocks worked fine, but slow.

I haven't found the preseeder slow so far, but have no idea how to compare - portable tach and try it on a bobcat and m59? Tough to say, that's certainly more work than I'll do.

I know your enjoying the M59 and all the attachments that goes with it. hope you post pictures of it, While your using all the pieces you have for it.
