ZL-20 FEL Valve Comparison

That's the "block style" valve, same as I have on my loader. A complete POS in my opinion, and soon to be replaced. Either with Ronald's or Tommy's conversion kit or a DIY job using a Brand valve, but that crappy thing has to go.

Rich is correct. Thats what we call the old style block valve.

That was the same valve that came on mine. I upgraded back in 2004 to a Prince Valve.

Get a kit. I did mine myself before the guys came up with the retrofit kits and it cost as much if not more to get the valve, make a bracket, and then get custom hoses. Plus it took time and was a pain in the ***.

I guess you got the consensus from the group to change out that valve.
I sent you the link to Ronald's aftermarket valve kit which I put on Loretta's tractor. It is sweeet and super easy to install.
