I bought an used yazoo-keys ztmax 48 zero turn and it has worked wonderfully until I drained the hydraulic fluid and replaced the oil and filter. I followed the owners manual instructions. Now it want move with any weight put on it. I can jack up the back of the mower and the wheels will turn both ways, let it down and nothing happens. Any suggestions what might be the problem ? It's a 2006 model.

Did you bleed the pump and fill the filter.

Did you rotate the pump so the pump was flooded.

Dry start or simi-dry start will damage a pump.

My ztr has instructions on changing fluid, it says to spin on hyd filter loosely, then fill hydraulic reservoir until fluid overflows filter before tightening it. Then you're supposed to idle engine for at least 2 minutes to purge air. If there's no power to wheels, it says jack the machine up and open bypass valve and run the wheels in both direction to purge any remaining air, then close valve and run wheels both directions again. I would guess your manual has similar instructions.

Actually all the manual said do was to elevate back wheels and engage wheels both ways for several minutes. Not sure where my bypass valve is but I will explore. thanks !

J. J. No the manual didn't cover either of those two suggestions. Not sure what you mean by rotating the pump ?

Manually turning the pump or turn the pump by remove a plug wire and use the starter to turn the pump.

That pump should be flooded before you run it at high speed.

Try taking the hose off the pump outlet and see if you have fluid.

Are the hyd filters full and no air inside.

I used Dixie Choppers for 20 years and never had any trouble.

Most pumps have a bypass valve that is used for towing..
