After only 10 hours on a new kubota ZD1211 mower, the spot welds on front cover broke. Fortunately I noticed & fixed it before running over the cover. Drilled out cover with bolts and extra brackets. Didn't hit anything, just machine vibration that caused these spot welds to fail. Based on the weight of the cover, spot welding is insufficient.
Minor issue, overall very happy with this machine.
