Trying to gather information before my final purchase decision. While going down a slope does the YT359 hold in "shuttle shift" neutral without brakes like a hydrostatic does with the foot off the pedal?

/ YT359 Question #2
It holds better than a hydrostatic transmission. When a hydrostatic transmission is overloaded (pressure over relief) on a hill, it will start to move rapidly. Due to the method the i-HMT works, it holds with little more than a creep.

Thanks for the info. I get the creep while in fwd or rev but if you put the fwd-N-rev shuttle lever in Neutral does it free wheel or hold.

It will free wheel when in N or when the clutch is pressed. You can stop in forward or reverse by simply pressing the brake. The clutch can be used as an inching pedal or to help disconnect implements by relieving pressure.
