t4.75
I have a 2015 Powerstar 75 (NH t4.75) that won't start. Never had trouble starting before. Turns out it was parked in neutral (sometimes have had difficulty getting the parking brake to engage - its the one on the gear shift with the pull up selector. I can't get it into park powered off using the clutch. My question is...will it not start because the parking brake is not engaged? Have plenty of fuel, was a good battery...now using jumper cables but turns over well. I don't want to go down other won't start rabbit holes if the parking brake is the issue for non-start. Feel stupid asking, but couldn't find answer online... will this tractor start without the parking brake engaged? Thanks

Most likely related to the parking brake if nothing else is going on. Looking it up the parking brake switch is on the right side of the transmission/rear end housing ahead of the axle. It's a plug in connection on it. I'd probably see if I could jumper it there before anything else. It's obviously not going to be "closed" if the parking brake is off. Just a possible way to get it going.

If the engine is turning over well with the starter but not starting it reduces the possible issues a bit.
But the remaining issues are harder to troubleshoot.
Being a 2015 is that a common rail injection system? or mechanical?
Also with no idea of your location, what is the ambient temperature you are trying to start in?
If mechanical injection there is likely to be a solenoid to shut off the fuel supply for starting and stopping the engine. That could have a blown fuse or relay, depending upon the type it can be bypassed to verify operation.
