Just got back from moving deadfall wood from the rental. The 1025R was the only thing that could get into the back yard where the trees had fallen. Probably 2 or 3 more trips to get everything out (f-150 bed is the limiting factor). Its about a 60 mile round trip... I really like how the 18' Aluma tows. Brakes on both axles & the Prodigy P2 brake controller make for smooth stops. Nick

Nice trailer! I had one very similar when I bought my tractor but it was only 16' and not 18. It worked okay when I towed it to the dealership to have the rears filled, but the way home was a different story! It went up for sale after that trip and never towed my tractor again.

It looks perfect for what your using it for though! Nice setup.

Heres my setup
The big trailer and farm truck with my skid on it. The trailer is a 2013 Big Tex 22,500gvw 30+5 The truck is a 2000 Ram 2500 Cummins
My other truck 2013 Ram 2500 Laramie Cummins g56 6spd.
I also have an 18' Doolitle bumper pull.

Thanks Guys I love the 13 too. It took quite a while to track down due to the fact it's a manual. The way the law works according to the D.O.T guy I talked to as long as it is farm use I am good within a 50mile radius of home or if I need to use it to go somewhere on farm business. Both trucks are licensed to 26k but only the old Dodge has farm tags. They don't really mess with guys in pickups around here. I just make sure that if I am going out of town I try to be at my licensed weight or have checked local laws where I'm going. They vary so much anymore it seems impossible to know.

It's good to see that common sense transport enforcement still exists somewhere. It's bit of a white-rhino around where I am.

Nice score with the stick trani, and my hat is off to Dodge for still keeping that option available. Though, I can see why the dealers want to push the automatics - here they list the automatic for $3500 more with the Cummins.
