Did I link to a picture of my barn? If it was the red & grey then yes it's mine, told the wife I needed a place to store equipment but really just wanted somewhere to play.
Yeah I agree 100% the factory jake brakes are really nice to have.
Are you sure its a jacobs brake and not an exhaust brake? I'm pretty sure all of the factory ones use a VGT or a gate to restrict the air flow out of the turbo and not have anything to do with the valve train as a true jacobs brake does. I very much wish my old cummins had either one regardless, I just wasn't sure if the new trucks made the leap to some "better" technology or not! I dont have any experience with a jake brake so I'm out of luck on that point.
awe man, you fellas had my hopes up! I have an engine brake on my international but its not progressive or anything like a jake can be with different stages.
Now that I know you have my dream truck, I need more pictures!JD230511 said:Here is my current rig. Sorry it's not hooked to a load fellas.

Nice trailer denron, how old is it and how's it held up?denron said:<img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=306887"/><img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=306888"/><img src="http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=306889"/>This is what I'm using. The trailer is a 16' gatormade and the Chevy is a 02 with the 6.0. It does run well but also is thirsty doing it.
You got that right. We are planning our next trip in June. Last year we got caught with reservations at a campground over there and wheat that still needed to come off. Wont have that issue in june!i wish it was warm enough to be silver lake bound right now![]()
Well in pa its a little different with the test. If you want a class a cdl to drive a combination over 26k, you have to test in a vehicle as such. Meaning I can't take my one ton pick up and my skidsteer trailer down.
I dont believe pa distinguishes between commercial and non commercial class a licenses.
