Howdy,
It's not only a timing thing, its also just that time of year when other things slow down. Been power washing the tractors, oil changes, greasing, air filters, and swapping out all the gasoline from the generators. Fresh 100% gasoline with sta-bil. All run with 2 x 1500 oil heaters, and 1hp 15 amp air compressor. Ready:cool2: and the weather is really nice around here. Virginia

Nice looking generator Boone ! Subaru eh ? Can you get a 4wd kit for that ? 
You've been busy daybreak - nice to get all that PM done up right. Nasty weather makes me think of generators, but actually our last big power outage was during perfect August weather (the big N. East outage) a few years back.

Generator: 2kw Briggs
Activity: Trimmed big cedar hedge w. hedge trimmer, used 300W+ worklight.
Final Fueling notes: filled w. NonE gas, Stabil and Startron added.
Maintenance notes (Done, or Required): Oil level good.

Last Friday. Changed oil, oil filter and air filter. Lost power Sunday, still running on gen now, and according to Consumer's power, will until Saturday. This is a Generac 15 kw with a automatic transfer switch. Once in awhile, my timing doesn't suck.

Activity: ran 20 min. w/1500 watt load on each leg - 3kw total
Final Fueling notes: n/a
Maintenance notes Started @ first pull. 118V while under 3kw load & AC @ 59.7 hz per "kill-a-watt" test.

Generator: Generac 10KW standby using Natural Gas
Checked the Gen yesterday and noticed the yellow LED warning light was on, I looked at the LCD display panel and it had a message saying "inspect battery".
So I inspected the battery and it looked fine, reset the maintenance reminder and we should be good to go.

Good to see somebody win a round with Murphy ! Yikes, must have been a rough ride with that storm - mostly just power lines, or structural damage too ? Your neighbours must be envious.
Good luck on the recovery.... you've got power, but a lot of things you depend on probably don't.

As stated, part of my quest for this thread is to get myself to be more pro-active. I can learn from you, you're so fast you already have tomorrow's work done ! :thumbsup:
