That kind of capacitor is a Christmas capacitor- Noel. In other words, a flux capacitor but without the "l". Best I can explain in a family-friendly way.That must have been some vibrator.![]()

My Mother has one like this, you toast one side then flip it around to toast other side.It only toasts one face?
We had an old Kenmore or Frigidaire pop-up, but with steel casing and elements on both sides of two slices.
