RE: Death

I have to say, my Uncle did it pretty well. Was a pilot his whole life, flew Corsairs in WWII, C119's afterward, then, ran an FBO at local airport and flew commercially spotting fish and crop dusting for the rest of his life. Sat down in his recliner one evening, fell asleep and never woke up.

Don't think I've ever seen one of those before. Then again, I've mostly lived where it was rural delivery, and the carriers used personal vehicles.
Given that most vehicles made in the last 20-odd years have large center consoles, it must be a PITA to deliver mail in a LH drive vehicle. ISTR maybe 20 years ago a number of area carriers had RH drive Suburus (probably specially ordered as a lot), but they didn't seem to stand up very well and were all gone within a couple years.

My 33 YO daughter just said that she only knows 2 people that carry handkerchiefs and I was one of them. I told her that way back, I used it more for her than for myself.

Only dying I want to do is tie dye.
