Shoot. I fell down today just playing tennis. Was going sideways, stumbled and went down.

Luckily no damage other than pride

But, it did hurt.

And that fall was maybe 3 feet? Maybe even less.

I whacked my shin on a metal object two days ago. Similar to walking into a trailer hitch. Yeouch!

Well —- I saw an episode of Andy Griffith the other day.

The old guys are sitting on a bench outside the store swapping stories about hurting themselves with tools, falling, health issues, younger women and weather.

I looked back on stuff in this thread.

Some things never change!

You have to hold your phone way out in front of you to read anything on here cuz you forgot where you put your cheaters.

I agree with this thought.

I also can’t get more than 500 miles per day. It’s hard on my legs and back. Plus, I don’t much like driving at night anymore.
A year ago last Thanksgiving, I drove my sister and I ~1300 miles from northern Indiana to Sarasota, FL, non-stop, other than stopping for potty breaks, gas and eats. 20 hours door to door. Never even got sleepy, thanks to a couple of 20oz. Diet Cokes. Slept about 4 hours and was up and ready to go again.
I was 71 then, and old truck driver habits never die.
