I'll be 64 in a couple months. I was still doing everything I wanted to until last March. I could jump up and down on and off loading docks, vault a fence, jump up and grab the attic hatch edges and pull myself up in, swing down off the roof, etc... then ouch happened. I get some vertebrae fused in January. So those days are over.

I can tell basically the same story only, I made it to seventy-one. It took eight months to get most of the soreness out of my neck and the doctor told me to squat instead of bend over. Things'll never be the same.

Yep! I just figure I'd rather have a stiff back and legs that function VS what I have now; back is fine, legs don't work.

THAT is a description that will keep my butt cheeks clenched most of the day.......

I had laser surgery done about 6 1/2 years ago. I was bleeding where no guy wants to bleed, and passing clots the size of grapes.

It was well worth it. I now sleep through the night, and otherwise am just like when I was 40.

I don't know what they did, I was unconscious.
It was nowhere near as bad as when they shoved a scope up where it didn't belong to see what was going on.

That makes my knees weak...and makes a proctology exam seem like a walk in the park...

Well hell I've had both and now because of the flomax I take every morning I'm so regular it gets to be ridiculous every hour or less till noon or so then every couple of hours. I know were every Stewarts shop and McDonalds is and which door is closer to the rest rooms. Outside around the house or farms not bad lots of trees or tractors to step behind.

The first time it was on a screen, so I could watch everything. I was asking the doctor questions and he said "most guys won't even watch". How often do you get a chance to see a video of your insides?

I've seen enough of my insides in real time, really don't want slow motion replays.

Pure evil..... of course I'm the dude that cut out some weird looking growth in my thigh. I had accidentally removed a 6"x10" (or so) chunk up to 2" deep of muscle when I removed some cinder block for a retaining wall by smashing myself into at high speed after I left seat of bike during street race. Dr want to see what it would become, I removed it with a pocket knife, healed fine just a little scar, plenty more to go around.

As long as I curtail my liquid intake a few hours before bedtime, I can make it through the night just fine without having to get up a make a run to the bathroom during the night.

Interesting. I take tamsulosin (flomax) and dutasteride and can sleep through the night or drive 8 hours with no problems.

I talk to a lot of guys. All of us have the same problems but not the same effects.

I usually have a big glass of milk and some cookies right around 11:30 and get up around 6:15 every day. If I don't have that glass of milk, I bet I could sleep 10 hours.

It wasn't so bad. The worst was dreading pulling the darned thing out. That, and I didn't realize that it was so long it must have gone to my tonsils.
