ym2301 clutch

I am looking to buy a 4wd 2301 with 1500 hours. The guy told me it runs good but the clutch is stiff and won't push in. He said he has ran it since last year and it worked fine then. Any idea on what could be wrong? He wants 3500 for the tractor and bushhog. What could e wrong with the clutch? Is this model worth buying?

I went to look at the tractor. The clutch would push in but the clutch would not release. The clutch was stuck and the throw out bearings were bad. I didn't buy it.
