YM2000BD Radiator

I need a new radiator for my 79 YM2000BD. Other than the $285.00 new one, anybody have any luck getting one recored?

I tried a new radiator in my YM2000B. The one for the YM2000 won't work. I wound up having mine repaired and boiled out.

I called a nearby radiator shop for a quote to recore mine. His price was higher than the new one I bought instead.

Hurm, just so happens this morning, brought in my radiator to a local radiator repair shop to fix it ... cost me a whopping $54.50 and got a gallon of anti-freeze to boot.

The top tanks solder seal only needed re-soldering and one of the side brackets. The flow was good, just checking by running hose water. My used YM-1600 seems to have never been flushed, rust buildup was extremely bad in both the radiator and engine block. I flushed both with a nozzled garden hose till water ran clear.
