YM1700 Draft control?

With all implements removed from the 3 point arms on my
YM 3000, I can lift the lower arms by hand and the hyd. lift will take over and lift the 3 point on it's own. There is about a inch or two of lifting by hand before the 3 point takes over and as long as there is upward pressure on the arms the 3 point will continue to lift. Stop lifting and the arms fall back into position. What would you call that function???? What might be the intended use???

Sounds like 'float' .. not conventional draft In fact.. backwards of draft.. ). Draft lifts the arms if they suck into the ground too far.. or otherwise encounter heavier 'draft' resistance. Your setup is is more like feedbackcontrolled lifting...??
