YM146

Anybody know if parts are still availlable for a YM146? I found one on e-bay that looks really clean that I am really interested in. 2 cylinder Power Shift model. Mower and tiller.
Parts availlable for the tractor? Mower? Tiller? Is this an orphan?This is the small lawn tractor style, not compact.

I believe the grey market equivalent of the 146d is the YM1110D. They are small very cute and powerful tractors. I know a user (Cord) even turbocharged his on this forum. I believe though that parts for this tough little tractor are not as common and therefore harder to find than for many of the other models. The 146D is a made-for-the-US model.

What I said above I believe to be true. However, I searched Ebay for the 146 and found one in Ohio, but I do not think that it is a 146--it looks EXACTLY like the G-14 that I also found. I know nothing about these lawn and garden tractors. They are obviously not as heavy duty as the regular YM series. What I can say with fair certainty is that the tractor that I saw labeled a YM146 was NOT, I believe it is a G 14.

Thanks for the compliment on the 186D.
That's the one I'm looking at on E-Bay. I'm in ohio too. Sure looks clean. G14? Still would like to know if parts are availlable. I could use a new lawn tractor and I'm looking for diesel. I don't need an orphan though. I'm pretty handy mechanically. Probably could adapt the tiller to the 186D, I think it is catagory 0.

WOW, that sucker looks near mint ! I've seen a few around for sale, Ebay and craigslist. Unfortunately, i know little about them. Let us know if you end up with it. Looks pretty stout for a lawn tractor.
